BACOFA is leading the way in meeting the growing consumer demand for specialty coffee in the Philippines.

Balutakay Coffee Farmers Association (BACOFA) is a female-led cooperative based in Mount Balutakay, Mindanao. Established in 2013 with just 20 members, it now includes 68 smallholder farmers focused on producing high-quality Arabica green beans. BACOFA partners with international and national organizations like the Coffee Quality Institute and the Philippine Coffee Board, Inc., to support its specialty coffee production and improve the livelihoods of its members.
