Kapeng Barako - Lipa, Batangas

Liberica coffee is a specialty coffee grown in certain regions of the Philippines. It has a subtle jackfruit sweetness, you can smell it the moment you open the bag. It makes a delicate and complex cup with some notes of jackfruit to finish. A cup of Kapeng Barako offers a taste experience that is unique and complex - with a creamy mouthfeel that is sought after by coffee ethusiasts.

Its most distinctive cup characteristics include a strong tropical fruit aroma and a super creamy mouthfeel. Flavor notes include jackfruit, nutmeg, roasted peanuts & dark chocolate. It is also about 25% less caffeine than your typical Arabica coffee. The beans are one of the rarest, almond-shaped coffee beans with an exceptional aroma.

Kapeng Barako has low acidity compared to other coffees, making it an ideal choice for those with digestive issues or acid reflux. Not only is it a delicious alternative to high-caffeine drinks, but its lower caffeine content also makes it an ideal choice for individuals looking to reduce their caffeine intake or for those seeking a mid-day pick-me-up without disrupting their sleep later on.
